Capri
Beautiful Capri, I will definitely be visiting again! The island is actually divided into two towns – Capri and Anacapri. Capri is more upscale and touristic and Anacapri is quieter and more residential.

On the water
We took the ferry from Positano in the morning and arrived in Capri’s Marina Grande. The weather was a little volatile that day, so a lot of boat tours had been cancelled. Luckily we found one that was still running and hopped on. We passed by the faraglioni rocks – an icon of Capri – on the tour, but missed the blue grotto due to the weather. We then got on the funicular up to Capri Town and explored the town centre, getting a gelato at Gelateria Buonocore.

Monte Solaro
In the afternoon we took a bus up to Anacapri from which you can take a chairlift ride up to Monte Solaro. Despite my fear of heights I really loved this activity, although I did cling very tightly to my chair! At the top of Monte Solaro there is a cafe and an amazing view of the island. You can easily spend a few hours here.
